Pierre-Antoine Senger started his PhD on 6 January 2026 at Cemosis / IRMA, University of Strasbourg, within the ANR-funded JNL-G project, supervised by Christophe Prud’homme.

A graduate of the University of Strasbourg’s CSMI master’s programme, he contributes to developing the digital twin of the French National High Magnetic Field Laboratory in Grenoble.

Research topic

His work focuses on multiphysics modelling and model order reduction: combining detailed finite-element models with reduced-order models that require less computation to simulate the installations. It contributes to JNL-G’s work on magnets, their power supply and cooling systems, using Feel++ and the HiFiMagnet environment.

The project aims to improve facility design and operation, predictive maintenance and energy resource management.
