The LNCMI and Cemosis / IRMA, University of Strasbourg, teams met at LNCMI in Grenoble on 9–10 September 2026 for the general assembly of the ANR-funded JNL-G project.
From the facility to its digital twin
The programme combined a laboratory visit with an overview of LNCMI activities: user access, facility operation and magnet design, including energy use and waste heat recovery.
Discussions covered the data and models needed for the digital twin: data formats, storage and availability (WP3), models of magnets, power supplies and cooling systems (WP1), and digital-twin architecture (WP4).
The second morning focused on priorities, objectives for the coming year and integration with control systems. The meeting forms part of the collaboration between LNCMI and Cemosis to connect multiphysics simulation, experimental data and facility operation.
