AMIES is a French agency aiming to strengthen the relations between academic Mathematics departments and companies. Its main activities and programs are located in France. Nevertheless, AMIES plays a proactive role at the international level and in particular within the framework of EU-MATHS-IN, created in December 2013, of which AMIES was one of the founding members, as national representative for France.

AMIES is not only the head of french mathematical research with entreprises, it is also the french partner of EU-MATHS-IN, a European service network of mathematics for industry and innovation, as well as similar agencies in 12 other countries.
For example, thanks to this network, the E-INFRA H2020 project MSO4SC got funded and Cemosis is the french partner.
